TOUCH ME UP - Touch Ups

So many people have precious memories not being utilised because the photo is too dark, or someones' thumb is in the picture, someone's not smiling or there's an Exit sign in the background. Here at Touch Me Up we would love to give these photos a new lease of life.

Below is a favourite picture. This is a standard 4'x6' photo file at 4Mp. This could be enlarged to an 8'x10' (20x25cm) print.

This photo was tightly cropped to the babies face. Any remaining hand and mum's face was cloned out and the photo colour corrected and lightened. A black border softened and enhanced the mood of the picture.

HSC Majorwork Enhancement

Original HSC major work

Great photos of your HSC major work can add to the finished folio. Here the yellow colour cast was removed and the photo revealed its real vibrant colours. The distracting background was removed and the garment placed on a clean, clear white background to pick up and enhance the bright colours. The picture was overall brightened.

A montage made from HSC photos

A montage was made from various images of the previous mentioned HSC major work. The background utilised various techniques to maintain the theme of this art apparel.

The original photo was quite dark and oppressive. The colours were enhanced and lightened. Blurring was added to the background to give a sense of depth whilst detail was picked out in the foreground. A wispy white border added to the dreamy effect.

Zooming in on the fairy and the additional fairy glitter and sparkles work wonders for this picture.

The original photo had a lot of background, so cropping in tighter focused on the fairy. A golden haze, fairy dust and dandelions brought a simple photo to life.

Retouched image-slimming down and the removal of distracting objects

The removal of distracting objects. A touch of colour correction and an added light background blur completed the transformations to this photo.
